Advanced options
Three ways to resize
Longest side fits every image inside a square of that size while keeping the aspect ratio, so a batch of mixed portrait and landscape photos ends up consistent. Percentage scales each image relative to its own size, up to 400 % for enlargement. Exact pixels sets the width, the height, or both.
Lanczos resampling is the default because it keeps edges crisp when shrinking. Choose Nearest for pixel art and screenshots of pixel fonts.
Nothing is uploaded
The engine is Rust compiled to WebAssembly and runs inside this browser tab. Files never leave your device, which makes the tools fast and safe for private photos and documents.
Frequently asked questions
How do I resize without distorting?
Use Longest side or Percentage, or in Exact pixels leave one of width or height empty. The other side is derived from the aspect ratio.
Can I enlarge an image?
Yes, up to 400 % with Lanczos resampling. Enlargement cannot invent detail, so very small sources will look soft.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP, TIFF, ICO, plus HEIC/HEIF, AVIF and SVG as input. The output keeps the input format where possible; HEIC and AVIF become JPG.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The tool runs inside your browser with WebAssembly. Photos never leave your device, so it is safe for IDs, documents and private pictures.
